What joy one feels when somebody says something that makes an impact on the life of someone else.
That is what I tried to do in my happiness workshop in Madrid this month and apparently, I had a little success.
My dear client and friend, Olga Ruiz, Editor of Telva, was impacted by the part of the workshop when I talked about the Five Biggest Regrets of the Dying that she shared with her Telva readers in the June 2019 edition. Read below what they are or buy the Telva June 2019 edition and see the editorial part on page 21 and 22.
¨A few days ago, I went to a workshop with my cousin Paloma that our dear teacher, Stacy Viva, gave in Madrid. Stacy spoke about an Australian nurse named Bronnie Ware, who had success with her bestseller book called, The Five Biggest Regrets of the Dying. What was most interesting to me was the author´s story: The author, Bronnie Ware had been working as a nurse with terminally ill patients and had the opportunity to listen to them prior to their death.¨ See below what are the top five regrets of all her patients prior to death.
- I wish I had pursued my dreams and aspirations and not lived the live others expected of me.
- I wish I had not worked so hard.
- I wish I had the strength to express my feeling and speak honestly.
- I wish I hadn´t lost contact with my friends. And,
- I wish I would of let myself be happy.
Better to learn these lessons now when we are full of life than at the end of our life when its to late.
